About Our Youth Ministry
Zion Lutheran Church’s Youth Ministry is a vibrant and active group committed to growing in faith, serving others, and building lasting relationships. This past summer, several of our youth attended the LCMS Youth Gathering in New Orleans—(San Antonio in 2028!), a life-changing experience filled with worship, service, and fellowship alongside thousands of other young believers from across the country. Through events like this and regular gatherings, Zion’s youth are encouraged to deepen their walk with Christ and become strong witnesses of His love in their daily lives.

FAQ’s About Youth Ministry
Child with Special Needs
God does not differentiate between people with special needs and those who “do not”. All people people have special needs whether diagnosed or otherwise. We believe that every child is a gift from God and should be able to come to the house of the Father to rejoice, to sing, to pray, and to praise HIm.
Do you offer any outside activites for families?
Zion has a robust option of ministries for families. We have opportunities to volunteer within the church and through outside organizations affiliated with Zion, as well as through the ministry opportunities that are provided through our school. Zion’s organizations are prepared to walk with you, whether it be through the Ladies Aid, The PTL, or any of our auxiliary ministries to assist you in engaging your family in the expression of the life of faith.
Can my child attend the main worship services with me?
Absolutely! At Zion, we welcome and encourage children to attend worship services with their families. We believe children are a vital part of the church today—not just the future—and their presence is a joy to us. Just as Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,” we embrace every child as a part of our worship community. Don’t worry about noise or wiggles—we’re just glad you’re here together as a family in God’s house!
