Zion Lutheran Extracurriculars
At Zion, we value extracurricular opportunities that help students grow in leadership, teamwork, and responsibility. Our athletic program includes volleyball, basketball, track and field, baseball, and cheerleading, with participation available to students in grades 4–8. We offer choir to all grade levels and partner with our local public school to provide band for students in grades 5–8. In 2025, we expanded our offerings to include Scholar Bowl for middle school students.
Zion @ Lutheran Sports 2024 State Volleyball Tournament:
We’re proud to share that our Zion athletes represented our school with endurance and determination this past weekend at the Lutheran Sports 2024 State Volleyball Tournament! Our Girls’ team brought home 6th place, and the Boys’ team took 7th place! Just as Hebrews 12:1-2 encourages us, ‘Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,’ our students demonstrated commitment and perseverance in their efforts. We are grateful for their hard work and the support of their coaches and families. Great job, Zion athletes!”
